Cosmetic surgery of the nose

Except for rhinophyma (a sometimes impressive increase in the size of the nose, primarily due to soft tissue proliferation, which is corrected magnificently by laser), the structural and functional defects of the nose related to the cartilage or bone are the domain of the esthetic surgeon. The operations are practiced under local or general anaesthesia on an outpatient basis.
