Face lift
The face lift is particularly useful in the presence of major sagging and/or noticeable jowls, loss of the oval of the face or of a marked relaxation of the neck. It is generally practiced under general anesthesia and requires hospitalization of short duration. Convalescence is three weeks on average.

The face lift, most well-known of the esthetic interventions, corrects the sag of the tissues of the face. Although many less invasive techniques now make it possible to delay the need for it, this operation remains the treatment of choice when other methods of esthetic dermatology - such as Thermage or lasers - are not enough anymore.
